How Does Internet Use Promote Returned Migrant Workers’ Entrepreneurship: Evidence from Rural China

Entrepreneurship is the driving force behind creation of rural employment opportunities and promotion sustainable development economy. Based on data five rounds national surveys covering period from 2010 to 2018 conducted by China Family Panel Studies (CFPS), this paper uses probit other regression models empirically study impact internet use entrepreneurship returned migrant workers. The results show that can not only increase probability workers starting a business but also scale entrepreneurial investment 18% number enterprises founded 36%, which particularly prominent among those areas with great potential for penetration. In low levels application, governments should continue level support aimed at assisting founding their own businesses, focus enhancing information literacy workers, accelerate construction technology in backward infrastructure drive economic through entrepreneurship.
